About SKIT

Sunapee-Kearsarge Intercommunity Theatre, known as SKIT for short, is a non-profit group dedicated to raising funds for area charities and other non-profit organizations through the presentation of theatrical events. We produce an average of two shows per year, showcasing our community talents in both musical and non-musical productions. The proceeds are shared between SKIT and its partnering group. We also provide scholarships to two local high school students each spring through our Steven M. Mendelson Scholarship Fund. Since its inception in 1993, SKIT has participated in, and won awards at the NHCTA competitions. We have a newsletter, SKITbits that goes out to a mailing list of about 200 once a year and to our paid membership about 3 times per year.
